Hands down the best day I can ever remember...

Now get up and get over the shock...yes Laurie is updating.

This will be brief since you know me I hate updating...

Last night I went to watch Dashboard (fucking) Confessional play at the Paramount with Audrey. To make a long story short, it was beyond amazing to see this group play live. Chris sounds the same on his records as he is live. And he has this certain charisma. He doesn't even have to try. And his hair...:dies: Ben Lee and Say Anything opened for them. They played for a total of about an hour I would say. And then DC came on around 8:45ish. Their set ended around 11 I think. They played a mixture of songs from their old albums and the new one. They opened with "Heaven Here" and followed it with "Rooftops and Invitations" both from Dusk and Summer. In between they played other crowd favorites such as Rapid Hope Loss, Screaming Infidelities, Ghost of a Good Thing, For You To Notice, Remember To Breathe, The Place You Have Come To Fear The Most etc. And from their new cd, aside from HH & RAI, they also played The Secret Is In The Telling, Stolen (which brought a huge..I mean HUGE smile to my face) So Long, So Long (no Adam wasn't there..boo) Dusk & Summer and then he ended the show with DON'T WAIT...*sigh* Yeah it reminds me of Lucas and Peyton. And Tiff I was calling YOU so you could listen but you didn't pick up. So the show ends, and they said their goodbyes but the crowd wouldn't leave. We stood there, we were screaming MORE..MORE!!!! and after about 2 minutes they came back out and the crowd went nuts. I mean they can't possibly end the show without playing HANDS DOWN right? So they came out and sang "Vindicated" and they fittingly ended the show (for real this time) with their rendition of HANDS DOWN to which the crowd sang with him. It was so beautiful. Seriously, hands down the best night I can ever remember. So if you have the opportunity, go watch these boys live. They're so worth it.
