Mom's latest meeting w/ the oncologist was very positive. After researching all her bone and tissue scans, she is considered clinically cancer free. After deciding on the type and strength of the poison (chemo) she'll be taking, they've put her on a 4 month schedule that will start late oct. After that is 4 weeks of radiation. All this 'just in case', to catch any errant cancer cells that may be floating around.
Decided to invest in a couple heavy duty metal shelving units from Costco. Cheaper than most Ikea shelves, and the type I've always wanted, they are in the extra bedroom to hold boxes et al. They are food safe, and the same type you see in every kitchen in the world. Heavy chromed rods that will hold 600lbs! No worries about these shelves going anywhere. Totally adjustable and wheeled, I just love em.
