Tutoring

Jul 11, 2011 09:09

I've been on tumblr a lot lately. If anyone wants to follow me, I'm Neutral Zone. I've really gotten into it now I've discovered I can just post images rather than talk, and I can even queue up posts so I don't even have to do that.

I personally identify with FOREVER ALONE, if you've noticed.

While I was away, I made some money delivering catalogues with my brother. But when he was away on camp and I had to deliver on my own, it really strained my feet and hip (my legs are slightly different lengths, so my hip misaligns sometimes). Now that he's going to TAFE, I've finished catalogue delivery.

Next I'm going to tutor two students of my speech and drama teacher, since she is moving. I've only tutored under the supervision of my teacher before, so I'm a bit worried.

I never intended to teach, ever. My mum is a teacher and I see it as one of the worse jobs in the world, so I can't understand why anyone would want to do it. Mum says it's her 'calling'.

But if I get to tutor someone, that means I almost have a job. It means I can get money and experience. I'll still be jobhunting despondantly until I can find something that makes me feel like a worthy human being, but it's better than nothing.
