Imagination is Free (A Poem For James Vain)

Einstein Hollywood and Gravy
A flamingo parade from Kentucky
Kings of the candy store
Going out to California
Stop thinking and start singing
The strongest times painfully live on
Was it the beard or beak or nothing at all
What did i mean when i said i wanted free
Smoke one more bowl
Black mountain sizzle
One more drink
I'll tell you after one more drink
Bees buzzing out
As long as we're living
Let poetry be my death
Too lazy to work for it
But I've tasted it sugar
Can you see in Zeus’ air
Jesus Freaks filled with Testosterone and Sleep
No wonder
there is a  hole in heaven
everybody thinks
It’s my favorite way back home
Fucking around for freedom
Dancing with the sword
My child my god
I am so happy you will not have to grow up
Into my father’s war
