Update with the house search
Well the weather is very warm again and my car stopped being a pain in the ass (until next winter). ;)
I did a very generous offer on the house I visited near Granby (20% over estimated value) and the offer was refused. I was a little pissed off because this just means the person doesn't want to sell (I don't think she will get a better offer than this) so why she put it up for sale to begin with? That was a complete waste of time and energy but on the plus side, I believe I have now enough experience to know exactly what to do when the time comes for an actual purchase.
I will not shop houses for a couple of months, time to work and travel a little bit. Other than that things are ok.
