Appearance: Ianto, for all intents and purposes, looks sharp. He dresses well for his job; a lot less casual than his teammates, but it suits him all the same. Ianto can usually be found wearing suits - with the occasional waistcoat -, dress shirts and ties, and looking damn good in them. Ianto, when going casual, leans more towards jeans, t-shirts and zip-up hoodies.
Ianto is just under 6''. He has short-cropped brown hair and a boyish look about him, though his expression is usually impassive -- until he does that killer eyebrow-raise of his. He's generally average in build - and boy does he have a waist - and, has grey-blue eyes. Have some pictures!
Personality: Ianto Jones; quietly efficient, loyal to a fault and deeper than he appears. Responsible for the upkeep of Torchwood Three, Ianto is both responsible and organized. He knows his way around computers and makes a damn fine cup of coffee - and he has no concern with pointing that out every once in a while. Now into the second season, Ianto is more determined to let his voice get heard by his teammates. Sometimes he feels as though they don't appreciate him or the things he likes, which originally had him quiet and withdrawn.
Ianto, though affecting a persona of stoic professionalism is still just a twenty-five year-old guy at heart. He's the source of most of the wit and sarcasm on the team, his sense of humour dry and deadpan. It seems as though he sometimes feels a sense of superiority to his teammates, preferring mostly to hassle Owen about his expenses or leftover food or doing particularly disgusting jobs.
Ianto is compassionate and caring. He genuinely cares about people (who deserve it) but when it comes to love he stays a little more guarded. However, when it comes to people who have done wrong or hurt someone he cares about, he has a certain ruthlessness. He's by no means a pushover, and he takes pride in his eye for details and his local knowledge. Ianto keeps a diary and secretly reads poetry in his spare time.

Strengths: Among Ianto's strengths is his infallible ability to make tea and coffee. He knows exactly what everyone takes, and exactly when they need it -- it's something he takes pride in. He's extremely loyal to those who earn his loyalty, and he's efficient. Ianto is a hard worker, can do math quickly in his head and can think on the spot. He's good with technology and a quick learner.
Weaknesses: In some situations, Ianto has the tendency to panic. His bottled-in emotions can lead to a breaking point and leave him distraught. He can be secretive and rude, and gets jealous easily. He keeps himself emotionally distant and, while he hates being the cause of pain, if someone harms his friends or innocent people, he'll treat their suffering with flippancy (2x01, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang). He also fails to get a rush from being in dangerous situations, telling Gwen that he didn't understand the enjoyment the rest of the team experienced whenever things started to get dangerous.
