I've been reading two different things lately. The first is James Patterson's Alex Cross novels. I'm currently on Kiss The Girls, which is incredibly creepy, but good. I have to admit I feel strange reading about a "dark-skinned" protagonist. Most of the books I've read have white-skinned protagonist, so just Alex alone gives me a sense of reading "something new". I wonder if this says something about me or about authors at large.
The other thing is Death Note, a manga I think I heard about from
frappygoddess. It's creepy. I haven't read anything like it, since I tend to prefer manga with action (Bleach, Naruto, etc.), but this is really interesting. It's good to see a more intellectual battle, even if I think they're all a little... insane.
Tomorrow I have an interview with this woman. I so do not want to go, but I need to get evidence for my thesis. Coincidentally, my thesis is due in a week. To quote a certain person, "It's not procrastination if you plan to do it at the last minute."
Speaking of, SMftS needs to end soon.
And Barça beat Arsenal. I kinda saw that coming.
