Quench
The word I got from my meme was Quench, and this is what came of it so far...pretty minimalistic, but fiddling with the word sparked some interesting dreams.
Quench
For a moment, she forgot gravity. Her arms drifted lazily and she imagined her hair, thick and dark, splayed about her head like Medusa’s terrible serpents. Pressure built, and she rose.

The water grew still. Moments before, the jacuzzi filled the yard with a primal rumble, masking the sounds of the couple seated within. Now, as the steam rising between them parted, the wind against her shoulders felt like a voyeur's gaze. She took a towel from the lawn chair serving as an impromptu clothes rack and ashtray table, and lifted the soaked curls of her hair to shelter inside the terrycloth turban.
"This was a mistake," she said. Instantly, she wanted to snatch the words back, and spoke a bit faster. "It really was a little cold for this, don't you think?"
"Probably," was all he said as he retrieved his trunks from the side and began his usual contortions, pulling them on before standing. God forbid there might be a neighbor with nothing better to do.
"I'll make coffee."
"Fine."

The bedroom was dark and silent except for the occasional rustling of sheets as he shifted position in his sleep. By degrees, he ventured from his side to occupy the middle of the bed, testing with probing hand or foot to make certain the territory conquered was, in fact, unclaimed. Downstairs, she sat nursing a mug of coffee which had reached room temperature hours before. On the muted television, smiling gods and goddesses with perfect teeth and perfect tans pushed and shoved against exercise equipment in dazzling displays of consumer prostitution.
