Merlin Wallpaper: A Heavy Cross

Ugh, I never know what to say about these things. By the time I'm finally ready to post my wallpapers, I feel like I've fed them for 18 years, stayed up all night to make them feel better, put some money aside so they can go to a proper college and so on... First off, thank you very much! I'm a bit of a texture whore so that's an awesome thing to say! :D

Secondly, why do you think I should have saved them as .png's? I saved the images as high-quality .jpg's to make sure that nothing get's lost in the process. Personally, I think .png's are fantastic for icons and smaller images, but jpg's work better for me for larger-sized images.

Yeah, 'cause looking through the window is all nice and stuff; but when you wanna see the world, you look through the monitor. :D

I always try to achieve a nice balance between sharpness and natural smoothness within the psd file. And on the screens I've worked with and with the right settings there's hardly a difference appearance-wise if it's saved as .png or .jpg :)
