Don't hate him because he's beautiful
Benji is an odd, odd little man. I don't really understand the American flag hot pants. I'm not complaining, as he has nice legs and as that was just about the funniest thing I've ever seen on the show. But...?!? Michelle and I were watching it on tape after we got home from life group, and we had to rewind and watch it again after wiping the tears of laughter from our eyes. What made it even funnier was that not one of the judges commented at all. Cat just swept us off to commercial, and when we came back, the other act was going onstage. What could they say? We were shocked and elated by the randomness of it all.
So the first half of the show was great.
The second half, however, nearly gave me a heart attack. I am surprised how upset I am that Ricky got booted. The season isn't old enough for me to be that attached to any of them. I screeched like a howler monkey when they told Dominic he was staying. I have nothing against Dominic (well, except for that weird covering his nipples with his fingertips thing instead of just putting his shirt back on after his performance), but I really, really love watching Ricky dance (and not just because he's intense and pretty...with really nice lips). Did they see that one thing that he did with his leg in his solo?! He's just amazing. I'm really sad that it's over so soon.
