It's nice to meet you, too, and I'm glad to hear that you have people. I can't imagine how awkward it is, having them know you without you knowing them back, but it beats being alone. And you're completely welcome.

Now that I think about it... Probably not.

IT is a bit awkward... But, I can see they care, you know? So I can't just go around and treat them like complete strangers. IT would be pretty cruel.
