I still don't know how it's possible. I was sure I would never come back... I've seen it on the Network before. City giving people a way to say goodbye to never let them in again...

I was once gone for eight months, you know. That seemed pretty permanent too. Maybe the City just can't let go of some of us.

Was the trip home all right?

But in a way, it's good to be back. If it possible, I'd probably miss this place.

[he comes around the corner and looks Anthony over for injuries before announcing himself. His tone of voice has already changed again- it's softer when Anthony's around, more shy, more like how Gabriel used to be.]

[There are no visible injuries, apart from a slightly bloody lip. Anthony kinda bit his tongue while hitting the wall... Happens to everybody. He was sitting on the ground the whole time, but seeing Gabriel, he tries to stand up, slowly, hand on his ribs. They hurt a bit, yes]

[he says with a smile and it's a complete truth. He did miss Sylar.]

THough... Don't take it the wrong way... But next time? I'm not staying long enough to say goodbye... It sucked.

I'd ask how fast you were going, but I don't think I'd want to know. And you're welcome for Rudy. He's easier to talk to than I expected. Ah- your apartment might be a bit invaded when you get back to it. One of his friends got in about a week ago. Rudy was asking me where he could find bunk beds, last time I talked to him.
