Will has learned not to call meetings. (Meetings are boring) So, he's discretely collecting everyone's experiences in the Cabal base. He's dying to know if anyone else saw the black super soldiers

Ashley can be found in the gym, beating the crap out of a hapless weight bag. Leia's decided she's sticking close to her person and is currently sprawled in a patch of sun, snoozing lightly. Anyone entering the room will probably get a greeting yip.

Will is yipped at and grins when the puppy decides he's not trouble and lets him approach. Watching from a safe distance, he's grateful he's not going to be on her bad side. Ever, if he can help it.

He puts his hand out for the puppy and waits for Ash to take a break.

Leia scampers over for a scratch behind the ears and sits on Will's foot, tail wagging, a paw on his leg.

Ash finishes the sequence she'd been doing and and steadies the bag.

"Hey Will."

She's only been avoiding everyone a little.

"Hey," he tries lightly. She seems a little reserved, but it is a Magnus trait. "Got a second? I've been trying to figure out just how many commandos in black the Cabal has."

She arches an eyebrow as she sips some water. "Dude. most of the guards were wearing black."

"These you'd remember," he reminds her. "Nothing on their faces, no guns and they fight like- well- more like you."

She frowns, shaking her head. "I - Leo might have mentioned something on the way out or right after? I didn't see any. After I was separated from Ardeth, I wasn't seen by anyone until I found Raya."

After that she was more preoccupied with finding everyone on their side and getting them home as fast as possible.

She shakes her head, thinking.

"We think the Cabal has some kind of new super soldier, Owen, Leo, Edgar and Ardeth all saw them. I thought you might have seem them too."

He shrugs. Ashley would have possibly been able to tell him the most about what she saw.

"Punching bag say something wrong?" he asks lightly.

"It was giving me lip."

she shakes her head. "I was trying to sneak in. I'm good but I'm not stupid, and there were a suicidal number of guys to take on alone."

"Not surprised. A little disgusted. Sounds a little like what they were trying to do with you? maybe the result of that project?"

Will shudders even thinking about what happened to him. "Apparently these guys were a little less ugly than I got and much smarter." Losing his intellect was the most terrifying part.

"Some kind of second run? Ugly monster 2.0"

She nods. "Hopefully Raya is different enough we wont be facing an army of telepathic sandblasters."

"That would be the luck, wouldn't it?" Will shakes his head. "Have you talked to her since she's been back?"

"Briefly. She was still out of it." She still trying to recall if she saw any especially fast or strong or impressive soldiers. She fought a couple and they could...kind of keep up with her. but she wasn't paying attention to them beyond trying to take them out as fast as possible.

"No one who moved like her?" he asks thoughtfully. "Have you sparred with Edgar?" It's possible the Cabal did things with him too. "No one who was especially challenging?"
