AU. Mulan is a concubine of the Emperor. The film follows its plot, presumably with another soldier causing the avalanche. When the Huns reach the castle, however, she steps up to do badassery anyway.
Would totally accept a picture fill for this, i.e. Mulan kicking ass in a pimped-out dress.
