Podcast 8: Special edition, with pie--I mean, guestage
Yes, it's that time again. (Dawn's in trouble; must be Tuesday.) We are still in early season 2, this time around looking at "Inca Mummy Girl" and "Reptile Boy." As so often is the case, these seem to be throwaway MotW episodes, and yet we seem to find all kinds of things to talk about.
This week, there are a couple of new and/or extra bits. The most important is that we have our first guest: chocolatechakra, who has just finished watching BtVs for the first time and is about halfway through Angel. She has some interesting insights from the perspective of someone rewatching early episodes for the first time after seeing the end of the series.
Secondly, this week's podcast also indirectly involves macha3, who sent a lovely gift of a Tarot deck (the Phantasmagoric Theater Tarot, for the record). So, for fun, we did a reading for each episode, and used that as the basis for some of the discussion. If people enjoy it, we can keep doing it in the future.
