I Watch Too Much TV

I doooooooo. And season finales/renewals is now.

ABC
Better Off Ted: I like it, despite the super rat-a-tat dialogue and the overstylization. It's funny! And Portia de Rossi is awesome. So. Awesome.

The Unusuals: Fuuuucked. No way this is getting renewed, but I'm glad they wound up their season in a way that doesn't leave people hanging. Amber Tamblyn will probably look like a child forever.

Castle: Procedurals are terrible. Especially procedurals riffing on an over-used trope (witty member + serious-business member). Especially procedurals where the couple in question doesn't have much in the way of chemistry. Zip. Except, I love Nathan Fillion. It looks like it's going to get picked up, and I'm glad, because I really like Nathan Fillion. He's the only thing that saves this from being a complete cock-up.

CBS
HIMYM: My love for this show knows no bounds. Take genre, then bend it, then warp it, then call back to previous episodes in a show of detailed continuity that makes life want to cry. And whoever's running PR is fucking genius--internet easter eggs abound.

NBC
Fuck NBC, who watches this network anymore?
But 30 Rock, yay! God, I still want to be Liz Lemon.

FOX
Dollhouse: It's getting renewed! It's getting renewed! (Maybe.) Pretty terrible, but it's been getting better in the past few episodes. Alan Tudyk was in the end, so, you know, how bad could it be?

Bones: This was okay (for the aforementioned terrible procedural genre), but went steeply downhill this season. Like, drove off a cliff downhill. Part of me hopes they can it, or at least their writing room.
