updates from today are here and here. we've all read those, right?? i mean, if you ever read posts in full, it should be those two.
so let me just say that it was pure genius to have draco feed harry magic over months and months. that totally came out of left field and i would have never suspected a thing. i guess harry didn't either. but do you know what i like best about all this? that draco thought that he wouldn't be able to contribute all that much to harry's fight by staying behind with the kids, and now he's done so much for harry. that decision certainly frustrated me for a long time until i saw why it was necessary. i love that draco took things into his own hands, did research [including deriving ideas from bean's touch therapy, ;alksjlkdfsld], and then figured out a way to, essentially, save harry. because if draco hadn't provided harry with his magic, he would be in even worse shape than he is now. i bet draco won't leave harry's side the entire coming week ♥
i also loved that among the scary moments of waiting, there was some humor in the conversation between draco and hermione. i'm glad they have such an easy-going relationship now, and hermione's reaction to the potential pregnancy was priceless. it was also nice to see sirius again [but i want to see remus, too! please!], and i feel that his relationship to draco might be a little less tense than it was before.
so, all in all, things aren't as bad as they could be. i hope it stays that way.
