a rec and other things
the rec first:
akahannah wrote a fic for me!! it's called 'tis the season to be jolly, and tells us about harry's and draco's shopping experience in the food department of marks and spencer at 7am on christmas eve :). draco's ruthless when it comes to getting to the pork and chestnut stuffing, harry nearly dispairs, a very knowledgable cashier makes an appearance, and somewhere in all of this, there's also talk of bebbehs [hannah knows what pleases me, after all].

speaking of food, i had the most delicious dinner: roast chicken with garlic and lemons, and sauteed mushrooms with fresh parsley on the side. yum! i will def. have to make that for myself once i'm back in the states.
things i'm not thinking about: the fact that the embassy website has a note saying that student visas can take up to six weeks to process. i will not be stuck here for another six weeks! grrr. i bet that was just a general note for first-time applicants. *hopes*
