I'm curious... Are you photos just something you enjoy doing for yourself, or is this an activity you signed-on to participate in?

I enjoy taking photos and I signed up for the project with some people.

I have 4 friends and a nephew all nudging towards an iPhone - they all love it! But for photos, I'm a Canon Rebel XTi fan!

I got a Nikon D5000 for winterholiday and I have a Ricoh Caplio GX-100 that I carry in my purse, but it always seems that the iPhone is there when I see a shot.
I miss my Canon SD800. It was one of my all time favorite cameras. It was stolen.

Stolen - that seriously sucks... Canon cameras tend to be well put together, in lots of ways. I also have a little Olympus FE-340 'point & shoot' that runs around with me. But I'm guessing your iPhone is outstripping that sort of camera for convenience!

Now you've got me wanting to go out and snap some shots... :)
