I woke up at 9:45ish this morning. That's the earliest I've ever woken up in a while. Also considering that I didn't go to sleep until 4:00 I'm a little surprised I woke up actually not feeling tired. I think it may have something to do with the nap I had yesterday for 1.5 hours. I was so bored, I took a nap. I'm actually feeling kind of tired now. Not too badly. I don't know if it's a result of boredom, my throat, or maybe I really didn't get as much sleep.
My throat has been scratchy and my chest feels like it has crap in it. I wonder if it's bronchitis? I seems to get it at least once a year. And it also may still be the result of my quitting smoking. Yes, I actually quit, thanks to Paul. My lungs still may be trying to heal up quite a bit. Maybe that's why. Hopefully I won't feel too bad later today.
So I think I figured out the car dilemma. Video games! Ha, yes. Video games it is. I don't mean like those car racing games in the arcade - but it's a cdrom that you put on your computer that actually covers everything in the manual, including actual simulation driving. It's quite realistic except the fact that I was using my keyboard and a mouse to drive. It's probably 5x harder to drive that way than actual driving. Plus I was failing a lot of them because I wasn't "checking my mirrors" when I only checked my blind spot, side mirrors, and review mirror! Sheesh. There goes off 6 points. Apparently you have to check them just the right time in the game or you get marked down. And then in the game I had to go like 20 mph of the 35 limit because when you change lanes, you're not going to have time before the stopsign or light - it takes a good 10-15 seconds in the game than 2-3 in life. Oh, yes, and I found this on Paul's computer. He's letting me borrow the cd and plus he has a game steering wheel and pedals at home. I don't know how signaling would work out yet, or "checking my mirrors" but I'm hoping it will be a lot easier than using only the keyboard and mouse. I guess we'll find out. Oh, right, and the highest I scored was a 52...out of 100. Sad, isn't it?
Oh, and I got a webcam. I'll take some pictures later and post them. Most likely before I leave for work at 2:30.
