Eep. Well, apparently they scheduled me early than my original schedule, which was at 6:30. I get a call at about 2:30-ish from one of the supervisors saying that I was supposed to come in at 2:00. I said I wasn't aware of the schedule change. She asked if I was on my way over and I said yes. She called just after I had finished putting fudge into the fridge. But the kitchen was still a mess, I hadn't showered, and I had to walk to work. Fortunately, I managed to clean up the kitchen, shower, walk to work, change into my workclothes (at work), and clock in all under an hour from the time she called. I talked to a couple of other coworkers and they said it has happened to them before.

The supervisors (we call them PIC's), are supposed to talk to you and ask you if you can work earlier. (Notice I said "ask".) Nobody asked me yesterday if I could work early. So it's not my fault I was late. I mean, that's why we have a schedule weekly, so we don't have to check the schedule every day.

Oh, and I got a belt today. I spent about $10 on it, and it was originally $18. I got it during one of my breaks because the pants I was wearing were two sizes too big (but they used to fit!). I had to walk around most of the day with a hand on my pants because I was afraid they'd fall down. And I also had to pull up my pants constantly while I was working. So yay for belts. I don't have to deal with keeping my pants up anymore. :P

I don't work tomorrow! Paul and I may do something tomorrow. I hope we do because we havn't spent much time together since Saturday. He's taken me to work and picked me up a couple of times this week, but that's it. That's not really quality time.

Ooh, the fugde I made came out good. Here's the recipe:

Chocolate Fudge

1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
3 tbs. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cups milk chocolate chips
2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla extract

1. Line an 9x13 inch pan with aluminum foil. Set aside.

2. In a large saucepan over low heat, combine marshmallow creme, sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt. As it warms, increase to medium heat. Bring to a full boil and cook for five minutes, stirring constantly. DON'T OVERCOOK!!

3. Remove from heat and pour semisweet chocolate chips and milk chocolate chips. Stir until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour into prepared pan. Chill in refrigerator for two hours or until firm.

Ok, off to play more video games again.
