If you had a choice, would you:
Accept that you can never be the higher-than-average person you thought you were, and go on with life knowing you'll never be better than those higher-than-averages or,
Keep on believing in yourself that you -are- that higher-than-average person, continue putting in effort and hard work, yet you know it'll always be an average or below-average work because even if you ignore them, people will always be putting down your effort. And no matter who says this, you can't shake off those criticism easily because many things come tied with it.
I've always pondered on this. If it makes no sense to you, reader, then it is supposed to make no sense in the first place. Let us move on to greener pastures where flowers dance and sing praises all year long.
