Cute Girl Stories
Just want to write down a couple of cute things the girls have been doing.
dlatimer and I have been working on "trade-ya" with Eloise so she can diplomatically take something back tfrom Amelia. Well, the other day I was enjoying a bottle of beer after dinner. Amelia walks over with her bottle of milk, places it in my lap, and proceeds to point at my bottle and make her gimme-that sign! Needless to say I said "no".
Amelia has started mimicking some basic sounds. The other day as dlatimer was leaving for work, we were all doing our rounds of exaggerated "mwa!" kissing sounds across the room. Amelia was watching us with her binky in her mouth. She all of a sudden went "mwa!" and mwa'ed her binky right onto the floor. The funny part was how surprised she looked when it wasn't in her mouth anymore!
I've been letting Eloise help me unload the dishwasher on occasion by handing me dishes which I put up in the cupboards. You know how mugs and cups often have a little puddle of water left sitting on the bottom? I usually just tap the bottom of the cup on my pants so it doesn't drip as I put it away (just the bottom, not the drinking part). Eloise of course saw me, and proceeded to walk around and tap each of her cups on my butt before handing them to me. ;)
Amelia has gotten out "buh" while pointing at a balloon, and has mimicked "bath" back to me while getting ready for the tub.
