(no subject)
my cross country camp was pretty boring. no cell phone service, no tv, i mean we were lucky to have running water and electricity. but not having those things made me really appreciate those luxuries, esp. since skool is about to start. take nothing for granted iguess....
my team is the best! they all helped the freshmen move in and we all kinda take care of each other. it definately has helped this move in weekend a lot easier. if i didnt have them, i dont know what i'd do. & even though i just met my teammates, i think i may have found a best friend. its so silly to think about this because its seems so juvenile, but i havent had a best friend in a long time; someone u just click with. her name is megan munoz,half mexican, from kingwood (xc rouyalties), and so funny. plus we have a class together!
u can tell that everyone genuinely like running and wants to get better. i think my xc team is gonna get really good.
even though somethings have gone good, i feel a little homesick, and just as i predicted.i really miss my dad. i had like two melt downs already over stupid things. but i guess its better to get it out now than when finals are around the corner.
