My alarm clock has a union.
No, seriously.
It refuses to go off on bank holidays (i.e.: yesterday), which led to me oversleeping and fretting a ridiculous amount about work.
I was meant to sleep until about 9 today. It went off three times between 6:45 and 7:15, and by then I was too awake to go back to sleep.
So, does naming inanimate objects give them human-ness? Is that even a word? If I had not named it after a person in my department who I swear is the son of a mafia member (HE MAKES STATEMENTS ABOUT HOW ILLEGALITIES = GOOD. AND HAS A BODYGUARD. Ok maybe not, but he COULD), would it be as vindictive?
(Ask me about my theory that my whole department is a front for the mafia. Go on. Dare you.)
Next phone I get, I'm naming Lazy Mclazerson. Or er.. 怠け者.
