I am so furious, I am actually shaking. No I did not expect us to beat Portugal because, quite frankly, we need Ruud and van Basten decided NOT to play him. I don't like Ruud but he's the best finisher we have.
Yes, fine we lost. But the fights? For FUCK'S sake. That was fucking ridiculous. And the ref was fucking SHIT. 4 fucking red cards and 16 yellows. My dad's going to buy the beer and we're going to sit about getting drunk watching the fucking highlights of the game. Unfortunately, the brilliant chances that we had will be utterly overshadowed by the ridiculous fights that seemed to sprout up every three minutes.
I have no words except for the fact that I'm spending the rest of this World cup supporting Spain. Or Argentina. Or someone.
And this is the first time in my entire life (and I have supported Holland all my life) that I'm this furious after a game.
