The LARP itself is great, though. I'm at a stage of comfort with it where I think I get where we're going and what we're doing, where we've come from and how we've gotten there. This isn't an uncommon problem, if fact it isn't a problem at all. It only ever seems to be regarded as such by (and no offence is meant here :) ) people who play some variation of Vampire. It didn't happen in the other venues as by and large the "enemy" wasn't other players. As a former Cam NST and ANST of old school Changeling ( where I cut my teeth on running longterm larps), you just end up approaching it as a giant tabletop game for a while. It means a fair bit of book keeping until you can phase out some npcs or what have you in favour of actual players. ( Well, that was my route, that and being being mad enough to take on the US global game and beat them :) )
Plot/npcs/create the social interactions you want by finding out what they actually want. Even a player survey would help you there.
