Last weekend, I finally managed to make it to one of those freeform events ubiquitous_cat is always recommending to me; specifically, Curious Consequences, a LARP convention held somewhere in Dorset, and I had a *fantastic* time. Everyone was welcoming and fun (and I've made a load of new friends - special shout-outs to fractalgeek for the lift to London, and castorlion for the TWH

If it weren't for the fact that I would inevitably be made wear a pink wig, I'd be totally up for a convention!
