Specifically, the one where Teh Australian and I are alone in a belief against the world; we both rather liked
The Spirit. We had had a drink (well, he'd had a glass of wine; I'd had the rest of the bottle) before we went to see it, but - having skimmed the reviews it's been getting - it musta been some pretty strong wine. Perhaps it was the languid noir visuals and the funny t-shirts on the blokes that were there all the time that distracted us from the "weak" script and "incomprehensible" plot. *shrugs* What should we go see Wednesday week?
In other news, well. I'm not on a contract at work any more; I'm now fully employed and permanent and stuff, hurrah. Certainly an excellent thing to be in this current economic kablooey. Starting lots and lots of stuff in the evenings; some learnings (yoga, pilates and Filmosophy - is it a film course? Is it Philosophy? No, it's Filmosophy!) and some re-learnings (swimming, inspired largely by
heyokish's enthusing). Busy busy busy. Anyone would think I'm trying to book out my evenings post-mid-February or something.
