don't bite the hand that feeds you
hello all, long time no type.
i haven't been too extremely busy but i have been doing a lot of different things. i think this might be my last entry of the summer before going back to school. (i'm going back early this saturday to get things settled and have a few lessons before classes start on the....22nd! oh man. so soon!) since i last wrote i have been on a road trip to go camping in allegany (samuel L jackson road like a dream, thank to the nice men at the vanderstyne toyota repair shop. i would recommend that dealer to anyone) and also to philadelphia, land of brotherly love, to visit none other than my brother. (and his new wife shari:) ) i was thinking about this on the ride home and i don't know if it's just the people we happened to come in contact with..and i don't mean to offend anyone with this comment...but out of fredonia, rochester, buffalo, nyc, syracuse, orlando, madrid, erie, sevilla, boston and any other cities i have been too...the people in philadelphia seemed to be the rudest. now maybe i am just a sensitive suburban chick, but even in NY, my favorite city ever, and supposedly known for its not so pleasant inhabitants, i found a lot nicer people in my few trips there. but i will definitely be back to philadelphia to visit scott again, so i will see if it was just a fluke. other than the people though, it was a very nice place, i really enjoyed it. any place that involves george washington and ben franklin is o.k. in my book.
besides traveling around i have been doing a lot of work. school work more these past few weeks than target work. i havent been getting too many hours lately. but i did get a chance to finish a lot of choral arranging and make headway on piano and voice. if i can only keep it up i might just make it before the semester begins.
i really cannot believe the summer is almost over. for me i felt it was very productive, not so much a vacation, but i can live with that. cause soon i will be back at school, with my new house and favorite roomies, a wonderful boyfriend, and ...oh so much work. but i think i am ready for it. at least i hope i am:)

dad kept telling us he was a descendent of benjamin franklin. he then said he wanted to have a tattoo of him printed on his face. i think this may have crossed into obession
