Okay...so I'm bored and now I shall post another entry! While I was out with my friend today, we talked about many things and one topic that entered our conversation was that some people on Facebook are such attention seekers. I know, I know, if I am really bothered by this, then I don't have to use Facebook.....is what some of you will think, but that's not the case here. Even though I'm not much of a Facebook user, I created it to connect with friends and family. Although anyone can do whatever they like on Facebook, some as I said, down right bugs me. Why do people feel that it's a necessity to post up literally everything they do? What do they think they can get out of it? Likes? Well, they have that ticked off. Is it some form of stress relief to allow everyone into their private lives? And when they do post these things they get all offensive when someone 'stalks' them, I use this term loosely as it is not 'stalking' at all if your information is publicised to the world.
Secondly, I understand that if you live separately or are away from your siblings, however, if you're living under the same house and most importantly, if you were in the same place at the same time (in your own rooms), why do you need to communicate via Facebook? This puzzles me beyond words. Thanks to social outlets, real-life communications is on the decline...to even your own family members! Often, it occurs amongst girls. Plus, what's with all the "I love you, sister/brother" etc type comments? Can't you say it to their face? I mean, this doesn't bother me too much, but some people take it over board, if you know what I mean. Anyway, I guess each individual has their own way of expressing their affection for one another, so who am I to judge right? By the way, please keep in mind that these are only my opinions on these matters, you can agree with me or not.
I'll most likely have more future posts on rants, so I'll end it for now.
