things I learned today (six things make a post)

1. I have limited tolerance for fic about the fictitious kidlings.

2. If you don't have a shredder, but you do have a fireplace, you can burn your old utility bills. Very very slowly. But still faster than going out and buying a shredder.

3. Dead weeds are still a pain to pull.

4. I never put my day off to as good a use as I should.

5. Opening a doc with strikethrough edits into Google Docs doesn't work: the strikethrough is gone.

6. But at least OpenOffice for Mac seems to work.
