Watchmen and Dollhouse and Zombies and Shoes omg
New Watchmen portraits, which led me to the astonishing discovery that not only is JDM on the cast (which I knew about), but so are Carla Gugino (hubba hubba) and Matt Frewer! Does this mean I should go see this movie?
Comics people: I am not a comics person. Will this movie make me want to spork myself for reasons associated with Stupid Plotting or Skeevy Race and Gender Issues? Should I read the graphic novel first? Please advise!

I am entirely peeved that someone other than me came up with the idea for Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Damn it! I coulda been a contenda! After all, I know about zombies, and I too can copy a text file from Project Gutenberg to use as a starting point! ::pouts:: (This book was even mentioned on "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" this week!)

Tim Goodman doesn't think Dollhouse is all that good. He's not exactly a Joss fanboy on the best of days, but these comments seem legitimate. I think I'm going to put Dollhouse in the box labeled Please don't be totally skeevy and terrible. Low expectations FTW.
Also, it's opposite FNL, which could be a problem unless Fox does that thing that Fox so often does...

I am wearing my new awesome shoes today, which are glossier and taller in reality than they look on the screen. They look really great with a long black skirt and black tights. Sadly, few of my coworkers really care about clothing, so nobody has even noticed my faaabulous shiny shoes. I shall have to sit and preen all by my lonesome. ::preens::
