Oh, this is exceptionally way cool. You really fleshed out everyone, and the characters are great and read like they are real. The plotting/casefile was exceptionally strong.

I will have to re-read, but I think my favorite line was the one about before their lives smelled like sulfur.

Man, I just lost like, over an hour of my evening reading this, and it was the best time I spent all day, hands down. AWESOME. You got your fascinatingly intricate plot, you got your compelling original characters that you actually CARE deeply about, you got intrigue and fantastic brotherly interaction and love and the proper homage to the Metallicar. And both the boys got lucky. Heh.

You got EVERYTHING. This is an absolutely splendid story. Brava!
