If you want to friend me go ahead, you don't need to ask first, but please mention it here, otherwise I may not notice. Let me know where and how you found me and why you are friending me. Generally I already know and am probably thinking of friending you myself, but not always. If you associate with certain LJers, I will not friend you because I do not trust them. Sorry.
I usually prefer reciprocation in friending. If I think you are interesting or awesome I will friend you without expecting to be friended in return. If I comment that I have friended you and you never respond, I'll assume you're not interested/too busy/whatever and remove you. It's nothing personal.
I'm unapologetic about my content, which is at times dogmatic or controversial. If you don't like it, you are welcome to leave. If you take potshots at my other friends, you may as well unsub before I ban you.
That's pretty much it.
*update june 15, 2008* If you have migrated over to Twitter, I have unfriended you. Twitters take up too much of my flist space and I don't feel like decoding your cryptic messages. If you'd like to be re-added, just let me know. However, if you're dedicated to Twitter, your reinstatement won't last.
