I would suggest reading the official statement from CSA and McDonald's and deciding for yourself. I've had the fries on several occasions and have not had a reaction, but, as always, your mileage may vary.

I believe there are worse things than fires. I mean look at what kids'll try and eat. Snails, coins and plasticine don't even taste as good as fries. :)

They are a bit suspect, I've nenver got a reaction off them so i guess its only a small amount. Possibly so little it comes under the limit (which veries in different countries). I do know that a coeliac/wheat and milk intolerant girl had some and felt terrible. Apparently they're not entirely lactos free either, but she was pretty sensitive.

I've only had a reaction to them once...granted now I stay away from them...as well as wendy's chili. I have a feeling someone was dipping crackers in it or something.
