I must take this time out of my day to say that Tropical Cafe and Kobe's Liquor off of Nicholson next to that new McDonald's are AWESOME.
If you haven't been to Tropical Cafe then you're missing out on the best smoothies in Baton Rouge. They use real fruit juices and giant tapioca balls for fun (don't think tapioca pudding... it's nothing like that) and then they seal the cup with a cute Japanese looking thing and you get to poke through its face with a giant straw... that probably doesn't make any sense. Anyways, the people there are really nice too.
As for Kobe's... he seems to be some young guy trying to open up his own business. He's really nice, and some of the stuff is really reasonably priced (the champaign wasn't but oh well). And he's willing to special order anything as long as he can find it. They have some cool imported stuff too... Adam and I finally bought a bottle of Midori from there so no more of that cheap Leroux crap :).
