strange shit
Haha, just when I thought that Video Art was just too crazy to understand... they keep throwing more at me!
Last week, one of the videos started off looking like a hot dog bun... and I was thinking, "hmmm... strange to see a hot dog bun with out the hot dog." Well, boy was I wrong. Not a bun of bread at all, it was man-ass... good old fashioned ass. Apparently, the shot started off with a guy bent over and all you could see was his ass and then as he lifted his legs until he was doing a handstand (? maybe... that's the only reasoning I could give as to why his balls were hanging the opposite direction) you all of a sudden get a lovely shot of his crotch... shaved and full of balls... didn't see much penis. The shot was strange, his head was cropped and everything was turned so it it seemed like he was standing straight up. All the while, he was spitting into a microphone so it sounded like wet-nasty-gun-shots as he whiplashed his crotch in tune to the spitting... it made it seem like his crotch was firing at us.
Then today was really funny. Apparently we saw the very first installment of reality TV. It was about a former porn star and a bisexual junkie who planned on getting married. They lived and acted like the Osbornes except that you could understand them when they talked. The woman talked about her experience making "fuck films" and we got to see the guy shoot up. Then some other guy comes over to their house and was trying to talk to them and get them to realize what a mistake they were making by getting married. They argue about stuff and she gets jealous of his "boyfriends" and then surprisingly, they get married in the end and it ends with showing them naked and about to have sex. What was cool was that in the end, she got a PhD in art and was teaching, and he was getting his masters in history so I guess they turned out okay... but I don't think they were married anymore.
