I worry I'm starting to become dependent on the little things instead of finding them entertaining and unique.

Also, I have trouble ending email. "see you soon?" no. "love, Cody?" no. some random pregenerated email signature? no. a catch phrase relating to my drug of choice because it's so cool I feel like I have to discuss it all the damn time? no. Things like this come to me in random moments of brilliance and after years of awkward email-sending I have yet to have a flash of insight into this particular dilemma. As a result of this and the fact that I do all my typing in rambling trains of thought, all email I send tends to cut off in what appears to the recipient to be mid-sentence. I managed to avoid this in comments on blogs, posts on message boards, and other internets communication methods by adopting the 4chan Standard of Excellence: as few words as possible, as many obscure memes as possible, and make sure to sound derogatory and spiteful at some point (ignoring basic grammatical structure is a plus, but not a requirement unless quoting lolcats or all your base). IMing removes the need for an end because it's live conversation. When a chat ends you can either say "good night," "see you later," or some other time-specific cliche and be done, but with email you never know when the recipient might actually get your message, which means that saying "good night" would become confusion if they got it in the morning and "see you later" would be weird if the meeting you were referring to had already happened upon their reading.

PEACE OUT MUCH LUV AND SO FORTH
