Oy, what a weekend. I havent made a buck, or done a lick of school work, and yet I havent stopped working the last two days. First it was Saturday, which started off with an intensive cleaning of the room, incluidng removing an old pc that I no longer need, tearing apart an unecessary desk, cleaning my closet(wow, that was a mess) and installing some new shelving. On top of that, my dad picked up some track lighting for my and my sister katie's rooms. So my dad and myself set to work installing them. THe most discreet way to wire the lights is through the ceiling, so since my dad isnt quite as limber as I am, I wound up balancing on cross beams cutting holes in the ceiling and installing electrical boxes... oy. But it was fun, I like working with my hands and stuff. So that's where yesterday finished. Today, I went out for brunch to celebrate my grandma's birthday, then when i got home, I was right back up in the attic. Just to give you an idea of the conditions, you can only see fiberglass(which is really fuckin itchy to say the least), gotta dig to find these 2x4's to lay a small piece of wood across so that you can sit to work, if you mistep and land on the ceiling, youre going through it, no light other a little lantern, and finally, for the most part you cant even sit up straight. Its okay at first, but after the 4.5 hours I spent up there today, Im nice and stiff to say the least. But it was cool to do, I basically just laid the wiring and ran it through the outlets. Finally got out of the attick, and started to connect the wires... 3 hours later, it's finally done. So yeah, thats my day. Feels good to lay here now and know the next thing ill be doing is sleeping. I cant think of anything else to write.
