I forgot to mention that the cycle of life is just a long drawn out test if you pass thiss test the cycle of rebirth is broken and your conciosness is no longer bound to such a linear existence. Should you fail the test you have to take it over and over and over until you pass this may a hundred years or maybe just life time. Maybe there's no way it can be passed in a lifetime and a new soul must grow old before it posseses the wisdom to pass. An old soul may inhabit a young body because it has been reborn to try again. Although the old self may seem forgotten it remains with us and if we watch our dreams we might remember and move faster.
