We're so gonna rock this tree

Yes, the time is FINALLY HERE!!!! It's time for the second ever codiasi Drabble Tree!!! You can see our first one here, but this one is gonna be off the charts, right guys?

The rules are pretty straight forward. I got the idea from an Oz community, oz_wishing_well, and you can see how their first one turned out here.

1. Please include either Ted or Cody in any of your drabbles. It doesn't have to be Ted/Cody, just as long as it involves one or the other.

2. Both slash and het are welcome. It doesn't even have to have a pairing, if you want to have, say, Ted thinking about a match, go for it!

3. Drabble (100 words) is a suggestion. It's fine if it's longer, though, no one's gonna power bomb you.

4. Your drabble must be posted as a comment to this entry.

5. Include a word, phrase or sentence from a previous drabble in the tree. Put it in the subject line and bold it.

6. Anyone can riff on any drabble in the tree, including the initial one, or their own. Just reply to the drabble you're riffing from.

7. Write as many drabbles as you want.

8. Drabbles only, please. No comments. Show your appreciation by jumping off someone else's drabble.

9. If you have any questions, ask me. I won't challenge you to a street fight if you need help, mmkay?

10. The Drabble Tree should last for a few days (I'll come up with a date for when it'll end and let everyone know). When it's over, post your drabbles to your own LJ and/or archive them.

Cody looked down the interstate as it continued for miles in front of him, no exit in sight. His eyes then shifted to the sleeping form next to him with a road atlas spread open on his stomach. Ted had promised him he wouldn't fall asleep, especially since they somehow ended up in the rental with no GPS. This was the last straw, Cody was buying a portable one at the next Best Buy he stopped at. He punched Ted in the arm, which caused the other man to stir. "Teddy?" Cody said with a slight hesitation in his voice.

Ted opened a sleepy eye at the driver and then looked around further. "Oh, shit," he said when he noticed they were in a moving vehicle.

"I think we're lost."

"Why didn't you wake me up?" Ted asked, sitting up in the seat he had slid into.

"I didn't notice you were asleep until I started talking to you and you didn't respond. But by that point it was too late."

Ted closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose, asking the question but dreading the answer, "How much further until the next exit?"

Cody bit his lip before replying, "I think the last sign said 50 miles."

"Oh, shit."
