As the prince, Ted had always been used to people reacting to him a certain way, certainly when he showed up somewhere unexpectedly. People would panic, they would start being overly polite and careful, they would offer wine and start bowing. Uhmmmm...Randy is about to have a meltdown soon, isn't he? First Cody gets taken while under his protection, and now his lover/protege is in a bad way. I feel it is going to be a bit harder for Cody to be able to convince Randy that this kingdom will be an awesome place to live.
I'm loving all the different wrestlers that you were able to get into this story both in major roles and in minor ones (Punk and Melina were surprising cameos, but really good). Sometimes I'll be reading along and then realize that one just popped up. SURPRISE! Punk as the tattoo artist/ former Paul Heyman guy was really a wonderful touch. Kudos on that!
Loved the battle scene. When John and Randy both look at each other and realize, simultaneously, that they will need to fight the beast to the death...sent a chill down my spine. I'm sure that happens in battle quite a bit...sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

Randy is not having a good time of it as yet but the story still has a bit to go! You never know: things might pick up for the poor bloke~
Hehe we're glad Punk fit, because Punk's pretty fun to write and he just seemed appropriate, as you say, as a former Paul Heyman guy, in the context that Paul had in a major way as yet. Melina was just a case of using a Diva that worked, because sadly we're lacking in decent Diva characters to play with in our stories as late that don't seem overdone >.< so yay, happy that worked haha.
Battle can bring out the best and worst of men... what matters is how you cope with the aftermath~
