Iiiiiiit's
Virgins-Love-Thee! You can tell I had no idea what I was doing. Maybe someday I'll go back and fix the face so that it matches the rest? shyeah right
So! Anyway. What I've been up to.
Weeding out flower beds.
Doodling.
Pondering.
Not staying on task.
Not figuring out what "on task" is.
Thinking of a working title, at least, for Virgin's story. (Right now I've settled on "Aces", for... some reason. Whatever.)

tos_100, claimed ZelosxLloyd, and did stuff for it. (2 down, 88 themes to go! gahg)
Also randomly started pondering how I got to where I am today in giant nerddom my style and in fandoms. So.
lol Tara
Dad draws -> Tara draws
Dad and Brother like comics -> Tara likes comics -> Tara draws stuff from comics
Mom and Brother like video games -> Tara likes video games -> Tara draws stuff from video games
Sonic the Hedgehog is a game and a comic -- Tara likes Sonic the Hedgehog, games, and comics -> Tara finds Sonic the Hedgehog comic -> Tara draws stuff from Sonic the Hedgehog comics
Family acquires computer -> Family acquires internet -> Family acquires different internet, as AOL's kinda lame (but it did teach me how to spell "dumb" 'cause I was stupid in 3rd grade) -> Tara finds online Sonic the Hedgehog fandom -> lol furries
lol furries -> Tara finds SCFA/Yerf -> Tara finds artists she likes -> Tara follows and imitates artists like the dumb 3rd grader she is
Artists like Sailor Moon -> Tara resists, because she's going through a "grr nerdtomboy" phase and Sailor Moon's girly and has pink and that would totally lose her boy-cred with her Brother and male cousins
Artists still like Sailor Moon -> Tara follows warily -> Tara finds stuff on Sailor Moon on the internet ->
Tara becomes a Sailor Moon fan -> Tara slowly starts trying to draw more anime-ishly -- Tara makes her first same-sex orichara couple, consisting of two girls she can't remember the names of, but at least one of them was suspiciously Haruka-esque
Artists grow older and more teenager-y -> Artists move away from Yerf to personal sites and other archives -> Tara follows
Pokémon comes out -> Pokémon has Anime -- some Artists like Pokémon -> Tara follows
some Artists move to VCL -> Tara follows -- Tara possesses powerful Shield of Naiveté, thus allowing her to simply politely tilt her head and go "?" when she sees some of the stuff on VCL -- Tara finds other artists on VCL, all of the ones she's following at this point possessing an anime-influenced style
At some point, Tara's purse gets stolen, along with the family Game Boy and her first Pokémon game, and she still needs to get her Mom a GBA or something to replace it and tell her the truth so she can stop suspecting Tara's Brother of selling it, though he probably would have eventually if Tara hadn't lost it. Ignore this.
Digimon comes out -> Tara goes "wtf ripoff" all Saturday morning until the first episode plays -> Tara becomes Matt Yamato Digimon fangirl
Tara searches internet for shiny Digimon fanstuff -> Tara finds
ruaki's old fansites for Pokémon and Digimon, Rivale and Digipark -> Tara finds out about shounen ai, shoujo ai is largely forgotten *tiny violin*
Through Pokémon, Digimon, and the Artists, Tara becomes more interested in anime and manga -> Tara finds a lot of other anime and manga she has little to no interest in now 'cause she's not old skool or something also Ranma 1/2 was lame
At some point in all this, Fanfiction.net comes out -> Tara finds FF.net -> Tara finds
tsukikoushi's parodies and fanfiction
At some other point, Tara finds out about FF7 -> Tara gets Playstation and FF7 for Christmas -> Tara watches her Brother play it -> Tara finally plays it -> Tara likes it -> Tara hears about other FFs -> Tara rents FF8 (I was late on the scene, okay?) -> Tara becomes FF fan
Through Ruaki and Mooncalf (tsukikoushi), Tara becomes interested in more obscure games and then-unreleased manga -> Tara is mildly annoyed by not being able to find the manga, but finds Suikoden 2 and Star Ocean 2 ->
Tara plays Sui2 and SO2 -> Tara likes Sui2 and SO2 -> Tara becomes RPG fan as she begins to realize that these are games she doesn't entirely suck at -> Tara begins looking for games on her own, as Brother likes RPGs but prefers other types of games, namely the ones Tara sucks at
Tara continues to seek out anime and manga, though not much "sticks".
Manga becomes increasingly popular -> Tara starts moving from anime to manga, 'cause it's cheaper and you can take it with you
Stuff happens, lost in a fog of memories caused by Tara's unfortunate tendency to bash her head on the wall in middle school -> Tara no longers remembers when most of the above happened, other than the general area of "elementary and middle school".
lol high school
Tara finds and begins getting random How to Draw Manga and How to Draw Anime & Game Characters -> Tara later regrets most of these purchases, but the first costume encyclopedia is still useful.
Tokyopop begins releasing CLAMP series at some point during all this -> Tara finally finds out what all this CLAMP stuff is about -> Tara fangirls CLAMP
Viz starts up their Shonen JUMP -- Tara is officially a nerd by this point -- SJ has series she's heard about from Ruaki and Mooncalf and promises more -> Tara begins collecting SJ -> Tara becomes fan of shounen comics and several series in particular, including Naruto, One Piece, and Hikaru no Go
Viz begins releasing more shounen series -> Tara mostly ignores, 'cause hey, the magazine has Naruto and Hikaru no Go and One Piece, and why the hell did that guy name his series Bleach? -- Tara picks up first volume of Prince of Tennis anyway, 'cause Ruaki really liked it (at this point/for a while, I forget) -> Tara dislikes Ryouma
Tara starts sampling more series that she's heard about or hears about as they're released, most don't stick.
Tara hears about Saiyuki (somehow, I can't remember when or how) -> Tokyopop begins releasing Saiyuki -> Tara goes "well, this is wacky" -> Tara keeps collecting Saiyuki -> Tara becomes gigantic Sha Goyjo Saiyuki fangirl
Tara decides to give Prince of Tennis another try -> Tara picks up next volume, no longer wishes to stab Ryouma -> Tara picks up third volume, squees -- Tara completely forgets about it.
Tokyopop releases Legal Drug -> Tara recalls hearing about it, and hey, it's CLAMP -> Tara picks up first volume -> Tara fangirls -> two volumes later Tara gets bored with it
Tara gets bored with a lot of CLAMP stuff around this point, actually -> Tara narrows CLAMP collecting down to XXXholic and Tsubasa -> Tara really loves Kurogane and Sakura, and likes Syaoran, but may be forced to stop getting Tsubasa because it's all like "something's happening!" but NOTHING'S HAPPENING -- Tara still adores XXXholic.
Tara tries and drops several series for various reasons, though she does manage to get most of Chobits and Angelic Layer and lives to regret it.
Tara finds Chrono Crusade -> Tara likes Chrono Crusade -> Tara gets more Chrono Crusade -> Tara fangirls
Chrono Crusade -> right at the last two or three volumes, ADV stops or seriously slows their translation and release of Chrono Crusade -> Tara goes ";_______________________; WHERE'S MY BITCHES ENDING AT?"
Viz previews Eyeshield 21 -> Tara likes the preview and remembers Ruaki talking about it -> Tara picks up first volume -> Tara becomes gigantic Eyeshield 21 fangirl, as if you couldn't tell from all the icons.
Memories are lost in haze of teenage wangst, increasing hatred of being in band, and total ineptitude at schoolwork. But rest assured there was a lot of drawing, fangirling, reading, and playing video games all through high school, though there became more of an emphasis on drawing and reading, 'cause good luck taking that away as punishment, Mom. HA. Also, I was really lame. And still am. Anyway.
Tara finds out more about Tokyopop and Rising Stars of Manga and OEL manga and etc. at some point during high school -> stuff happens -> finds out about
telophase and her manga analysis(es?) -> fangirls Telophase -> is really lame and babbles like an ignoramus a lot in Telophase's LJ. sorry ;;;
Tara still plays games -> Tara gets a Game Cube at some point -> Tara sees ads for Tales of Symphonia in magazines -> Tara thinks it looks a little lame but gets it anyway -> Tara plays it, burns self out on it without finishing it, thinks it's a little lame, stops playing -> Tara picks it up again for whatever reason some time later and starts a new game -> Tara likes it a lot more now for some reason -> Tara becomes ToS fangirl -> Tales of Symphonia eats Tara's soul, resulting in Tara doing more stuff in this fandom than she's done since her StH and Mega Man fandom days -> Tara becomes interested in other Tales games.
Avatar: The Last Airbender starts -> Tara watches and squees -> Tara watches more and squees -> Tara then proceeds to watch it haphazardly and misses a lot 'cause she sucks like that.
Tara decides to check out Fullmetal Alchemist to see what the fuss is about -> Tara goes "eh" but keeps collecting it -> Tara goes "eh" at the manga as well but keeps collecting it -> Tara finally starts liking the anime and manga after collecting both for some time because FMA appears to be an entertainment virus for which there is no cure.
lol graduation.
lol hurricane.
lol 6-day job.
lol job search.
lol house renovation.
one of the Artists Tara still follows really likes Bleach -> Tara decides to see what the fuss is about -> Tara becomes almost instantaneously a Bleach fangirl and now makes sad faces at her lack of money because NEED MORE BLEACH, as odd as that sounds.
Similar story for Fruits Basket.
At some point, Tara realizes that for all of her starry-eyed dreams and story idea shenangians, she hasn't really worked on comic-making since she was little -> "oh fuck" moment -> FAST AND FURIOUS THINKING that gets absolutely nowhere.
Telophase works on a contest entry -> Telophase tries to think of a name for character in entry -> The "name" Virgins-Love-Thee comes up -> Tara gets idea that eats her soul. Again. Don't ask how that works. -- Tara goes ";_;" when Telophase doesn't name character in entry "Betwixt-My-Breasts".
Virgins-Love-Thee gains mind of his own with startling rapidity (much to the annoyance of the other, better established figments of Tara's insanity) and begins working on a world and story for himself and wrassles a few worldless characters into it with him -> Tara watches and records with with a mixture of fear, apprehension, "wtf?", and other preservatives.
And now, you/I/he/she/it are/am/is here -> X. Or something.
It's missing stuff (like my brief and largely shameful involvement in the Mega Man fandom, my days at Ivy's and MZDM, all my Mary Sues, the immensely shameful period where I named my characters in what was pretty much fangirl Japanese following the naming pattern of the Inner Senshi's real names, and other stuff), but I don't remember a lot of stuff/have no idea how to work it in/etc., and my arm's about to fall off from typing aimlessly for ~2 hours, and none of you care anyway but I like thinking about meaningless things. So.
...whee? *arm falls off*
