Korea Sparkling!
I'm going through the honeymoon period right now of being back in Korea. I know that it's partly because everything is fresh and new!, but I am indeed in a better place than I was before. The city I live in is amazing. :D I am super happy with my apartment and my co-teachers. I do have some problems, but they are small and it could be a lot worse!
I might become tired of this place in the future, but I'll be able to counter act it with traveling outside my immediate area and remember the difference between the middle of Korea and the area around Seoul.
No, I think my biggest problem in the future will be meeting people. My personality is very introverted, even though to my coworkers I seem bubbly and peppy. I don't normally seek out others, but in the future I know I will have to. Hopefully I'll be able to get over this slight hesitation with approaching others and striking up a conversation. For now I'm just going to take it one day at a time and straighten out all the small problems (like filling out my taxes! Oi! International tax law, WTF?)
