I've been having trouble keeping this thing updated. When something interesting is happening, I don't think of it. When I think of it, nothing worth mentioning is happening. I'm starting a new project right now, and I'll be posting more often describing how the process is going, probably posting either here or at
codestory. The schedule for this is tight, and there is a lot of negotiating that goes on about time and money between
Gravity Switch and our clients (who I won't name). I don't have to participate in the negotiations, but whenever it happens it pushes my schedle around. I don't think I need to mention that I don't get more time or less to do.
On the good end, the project is going to be doing interesting things with
Director, so I won't just be grinding out code.
On the bad end, I'm at the hardest point of a project, where there is nothing except a blank screen in front of me, a specification, and lots of questions. So I'm procrastinating putting code to page by posting in my journal. That's smart. :)
