Lil' Neo

All right, Trinity. Let's discuss. What should we do with Neo now that he's regressed to his toddler state? I suggest putting him up for adoption.

We are not putting him up for adoption. Besides. They'd just bring him back.

But the fact remains, Trinity. Neither of us are particularly suited for taking care of Neo. I, for one, value my sound receptors.

...Fuck. Someone had better kill whoever gave him the damn ring in the first place, or I will.

*sighs* So...Alright. I can watch him some, but there needs to be at least one other party to help.

I don't suppose Morpheus is around?

*cheerfully* Nope. I think I've seen the Merovingian somewhere around here, though. Think he'd be suitable?

Oh, gods, the Frenchman? No.

So. Who else is there?

I was just talking to Lucifer awhile ago. He seems nice, if a bit grumpy. What about him?

Luc-- *closes eyes and counts to ten* No. We are not leaving Neo with Lucifer.

You know, for someone who desperately needs a baby-sitter - you're being awfully picky. Ever hear of the expression "Beggars can't be choosers?"

...We're not leaving Neo with Satan or the Frenchman. It's not happening.

*lightbulb* The Oracle! She's always keeping brats around her. She'll love having lil' Neo around!

*sighs in relief* That'll work. And *grimaces* I'll watch him too. Even she won't be able to put up with him all the time.

From the corner of the room, a fax machine begins to beep and a letter is transmitted.

Hello dears,

I do hope this message doesn't come too late. I would have sent it earlier but the fax machine was broken. This is just to let you know that I'll be on vacation for the next few months. Sati and I found a wonderful place to create sunshine and rainbows.

If you need a prophecy or a vision, please leave a message at my answering machine. I'll answer cryptically as soon as I return.

Love,

The Oracle

A second sheet of paper slowly slides out of the fax machine.

PS - Did you know that my dear boy Agent Smith used to take care of little agents-in-training all the time? I'm sure he'll be willing to help. If not, he's grounded. Tell him that.

*grins widely and wickedly at Smith after reading the second sheet*

*warily* Trinity? Why are you grinning like that?
