Old School Star Trek is good medicine. So is bondage.

I have been fighting anxiety attacks all night long, I am horribly sick for the second time in a month, and I had to cancel tomorrow's hot date.

On the upside, squeemu made me a tribble icon.

Which brings me to: due to a recent meme posted by thebaconfat, I have realized there are on my paid account a full twenty (well, ninteen now) icon slots empty!

Comrades, will you help me fill these slots?

A simple way is to go through my interests list, find a topic I don't already have an icon of, and make one out of it. Serious. Wacky. Anything goes. Our computer lost its imaging software when it got reformatted, which is is a large reason for my dearth of icons. Behind the cut are concepts for several icons I've wanted, but always was unable, to make.

I saw Akira Kurosawa's Throne of Blood a couple of weeks ago with trowizilla's boyfriend, and it was a dark, dramatic tour de force. Naturally, I want to honor this classic by making a goofy icon out of the arrow scene.

A montage of these, in any order would be fabulous. Crop and resize the images, of course, to create the silliest angles possible.

And can I have Batman's dialogue here?

Finally, even before I discovered Superdickery, I already knew Wonder Woman had been created by Dr. William Moulton Marston, a fine psychologist who was into bondage, lived in a committed polyamorous relationship with two women, and said things like, "The only hope for peace is to teach people who are full of pep and unbound force to enjoy being bound. . . . Only when the control of self by others is more pleasant than the unbound assertion of self in human relationships can we hope for a stable, peaceful human society. . . . Giving to others, being controlled by them, submitting to other people cannot possibly be enjoyable without a strong erotic element." What I didn't quite realize, however, is just how many frigging times in her long career Wonder Woman has been tied up.

I must have an icon of this phenomenon.

Here is the gallery, and let your imagination run free. Another montage, perhaps?

Anything would cheer me up right now, icons and otherwise. Get on with the lovin'. But only if you want to.
