In english we had to do creative writing and come up with twisted endings for one of the 2 stories we read by Roald Dahl. One was called "Taste" and the other was "Dip in the Pool". Both were twisted but I decided to go with Taste and proceeded to get a ton of help from Lydia and Eben. Here's what we came up with (to find the whole stories, just google them or something). Tell me this is not spectacular:

“Now, Michael!” his wife said. “Keep calm now, Michael, dear! Keep calm!”
“Why should I keep calm when he’s the one who’s been cheating all along?! I bet my daughter’s hand in marriage because I knew you wouldn’t be able to get it right! How did I know that you would cheat just so you could marry my daughter?” Mike yelled furiously as he made his way over to Richard’s chair.
Richard glanced confusedly around the room looking for some sympathy. He stopped at Louise and she stared at him scornfully and with what I thought to be a slight twinge of guilt. Richard was frantic at this point but suddenly his face slackened as though he just understood something important. He opened his mouth and was about to speak when Mike delivered the first blow.
The dining room suddenly erupted in chaos. Mike’s wife let out a pitiful cry while the maid rushed forward in an attempt to break Richard’s fall. I rushed around the table leaving our expensive Château Branaire-Ducru wine to “breathe.” I grabbed Mike’s arm to try to restrain him but he swung his arm back elbowing me in the right cheek. I staggered back and my wife rushed to my side to get me out of the way of Mike’s flailing punches. Mike continued to hit Richard and Richard finally crumpled to the floor.
A crying and flustered Louise and her mother stood watching while Mike picked Richard up off the floor. In an effort to console Louise, her mother held her and said, “At least you don’t have to be with him anymore.” As she said this, Mike delivered what eventually proved to be a fatal punch in Richard’s left chest sending his heart into a deathly rhythm. Mike heard these words come from his wife’s mouth and realized the truth, but it was too late.
He wheeled around to face his screaming daughter in a state of desperation and in an accusing tone asked, “What have you done? ”
Everyone turned to Louise, searching for an answer. “I didn’t mean for things to get out of hand. I just didn’t want him to be around me anymore. He’s been bothering me for too long! I just - ”
“You knew that I would find Richard’s glasses in the study! You knew exactly what you were doing when you planted them there! And you knew that something would happen to Richard! Why did I have to be a part of this; why did you have to use me?” the maid shrieked.
“I - I just - I - I’m sor -” Louise stuttered.
Armed with the bottle of Château Branaire-Ducru, the maid said with an eerie calmness, “What have you done - What have you done to my son…”
