So today the doctor finally called me back (about 2.5 weeks later) about my blood test results. I actually got an adrenaline rush of sorts due to the whole "I'll tell you if you have HIV and are going to DIE" situation. Not that I actually had any real thoughts that I had the HIV, its just the possibility that she could totally be all "oh and you tested positive for HIV" BUT I am HIV negative officially, plus free of STDs. Hazzah. And I pretty much got a clean bill of health on all the other crazy bodily function tests minus one deficiency. Apparently from being stuck in a lab for pretty much three years straight I have a significantly low Vitamin D count. On some scale that I'm not familiar with I have a Vitamin D count of "13" when I'm suppose to have a count of "30+". So I need to start taking about 1000 units of Vit. D for the next 30 days and I'll have my count redone. So in the last month I've put fears to rest of: head cancer (NONE, yay lol), STDs, and HIV. I'm clean on all accounts. (save for the whole testing positive for cold sores, but that's an obvious one)
ACS is coming up soon... the poster is sucking balls, but I do have plane tickets now so I'm definitely at least flying to Salt Lake City... maybe I'll live under a bridge lol. No, Lear and Jess are definitely going too and they have a hotel room paid for by the school. So even if my poster presentation sucks balls at least I can say I presented at the American Chemical Society National Conference and I'll get to spend 5 days out of class screwing around in Utah with Jess and Lear.
